Annual Meeting
January 19 th, 2008 Annual meeting of the T.O.W. ATV Club. We had a really
good turn out with 39 people attending. We had a potluck dinner 1 st at 5pm with the annual mtg. to follow. It seemed like everyone had an enjoyable time. We would like to thank Mark for all his hard work. Congratulations to our new officers Lincoln as president, Karl as vice president and Debbie as treasurer, with Donna still as secretary.
Trail Maps
Mark, Don and Ella have put together our first official trail maps, and they're available now. See them on the web, or contact Linc at donnanlinc@surfglobal.net for your high quality printed copies.
New ATV Course Coming For Riders 18 and Under:
VASA Has announced that all riders 18 and under will be required to take an ATV safety course before riding on anything other than private property with the owners written permission. The course will be offered online, and a certificate of completion must be obtained before one can ride the trails. The details and course links will be available sometime in December, and the change will take effect on January 1st, 2008.
New ATV Club in West Burke
A new club is being formed in West Burke. We have few details at present, but understand they are having some problems regarding landowner permission. Anyone with further information and contact names are asked to contact the webmaster.
