Lunenburg’s Old Home Day 2008
Lunenburg’s Old Home Day was held August 2nd around the town common. The town’s Historical Society and the Top of the Common Committee are among the many organizations in town that sponsored activities during the day.
The Old Town Hall was opened and staffed by members of the Historical Society from 10 AM to 2 PM. There were some new exhibits this year, including original school superintendent reports from the mid 1800s.
Information on the Society’s quilt contest to be judged during the 2009 Maple Festival was posted. Handouts were available to take home for reference or to share with fellow quilters.
